I’ve never been much on fashion or trying to look “nice”. I pretty much go with the “If it’s comfortable, wear it” mantra. You’ll typically find me in blue jeans, tennis shoes, and a t-shirt. That’s just what I find comfortable to wear. However, even with my lack of style or knowing what looks good, there is one thing that I know for a fact looks freaking terrible: Ugg Boots.

Not sure what I’m talking about? I’m sure you know, you just don’t know the name of them. You probably just call them “The Ugliest Boots on the Face of the Earth”. However, they are Ugg Boots:

Pick whatever color you like, they are still ugly as sin.

I’ve seen so many girls wearing these damn things. At first I thought, “I hope those poor bastards aren’t paying for those.” But the sad thing is, they are. These stupid things are well over $100.00. And I’m not kidding about that. I can’t believe people would pay over $25.00 for those things. Personally, if I were a girl, I’d rather wear potato sacks that were tied around my ankles, rather than wearing these dumb looking things. I mean, seriously. For as much as they cost, you could get much better looking shoes (and probably more comfortable too).

I’ve heard many girls comment that they are comfortable. Even to a guy who values comfort over style, I wouldn’t be caught dead in those things. Seriously. I’ve already told Ashley that if she bought them and tried to wear them, I wouldn’t be seen in public with her (thankfully she doesn’t like them either). I would just be embarrassed to even be associated with them. That’s how much I dislike these damn boots. I remember seeing them my freshman year in college and I was like, “That fad will die out soon.” Unfortunately, it’s been five years and we are still running strong.

And by the way, does anyone want to guess what ‘Ugg’ is short for in ‘Ugg Boots’? In my opinion, it’s short for Ugly Ass Boots. Seriously, it’s like the designer said, “I’m going to make the ugliest fucking boots alive… and people will buy them and wear them and eat this shit up!” That guy is making so much bank right now too. Man, I wish I had came up with it. Then maybe I wouldn’t need to finish school. haha
