Christmas Vacation
Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 08:34AM
As time finds me right now, I am laying down on Ashley's couch in her apartment, still in pajama pants and watching VH1. Right now, I Love the New Millennium is on (2000 edition). I'm sad because a countdown of the top 100 hard rock songs has been on, but it doesn't continue until tonight.
Other than all that great fun, I have just been enjoying my time off. I had a really splendid Christmas (I have some pictures of it, but those won't be posted until I get back to Louisville on Friday night) and an overall relaxing time. It is now New Year's Eve and I'm really just planning to lay low for the evening. I've never been one to party on New Year's Eve all that much. I'd rather hang out with friends and just relax and have a couple of drinks. So if you're looking for me tonight, I definitely won't be out anywhere. I'll be locked away, enjoying myself.
Another exciting thing that I've had happen during the holidays, is that Ashley and I have set a date. As it stands right now, we have reserved the church for August 15, 2009. I plan on helping Ashley actually create a small website that will contain information about the wedding so that we can just direct people to the website, rather than us having to constantly fill people in. I'll definitely pass that link on to you guys after it's set up, but we haven't had a chance to start on it yet.
The final bit of news that I have is that I have purchased a Sony PSP. I really wanted to have a game to play (I didn't bring home any consoles) and I also (as childish as this will sound) wanted to play Lego Batman. So I picked up the PSP and a copy of Lego Batman and I have been playing it in my spare time. It's really a lot of fun. I'm surprised at how much fun the PSP can actually be. I have had a DS before, but the PSP just seems a bit more powerful and a little more straight forward. And the graphics do seem better. I've only had it for less than a week, but I will definitely talk about it more in the future.
Anyway, I suppose I need to get off of here. I need to go wake up Ashley and get going today. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's to you as well.
