Finished With Two Classes
Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 04:04PM
Well, after today I am officially finished with two classes for this semester: Experimental Design and Introduction to Archaeology. I made an 'A' in my Archaeology class and I'm awaiting my grade for Experimental Design. It'll probably be next week sometime before I get that though.
I feel very relieved, but unfortunately, it won't last. I have quite a few things coming up such as a project presentation, a lab, and a huge final exam that I've talked about previously. Either way, I'm just kind of ready for it to end. The end of a semester is always so stressful, because you have so many loose ends to tie up and I just want this part to be over with. I'd rather be in the beginning or mid-semester, where there aren't as many things filling up my calendar.
Speaking of filling up calendars, I'm quite happy to announce that I have just purchased tickets to see The Hives in concert. I picked up a ticket for my girlfriend and I to enjoy watching them perform in the Wild Horse Saloon (no, I'm not making up that name) in Nashville. I personally really like The Hives and I've wanted to see them live for quite some time. From all the reviews that I've read, these guys are pure energy. Basically what you'd get if you took the young Rolling Stones and gave them cocaine... or more of it if they were already taking it at the time. We will be watching them on May 16, so hopefully I will be able to take my camera in there and take some pictures. This place seems to be a fairly small venue, so I hope to get good seats.
On that note, I think I will get off of here though. I'm tired and I think I might play some Counter-Strike: Source before I go to bed, with nothing due tomorrow!!!
