Good Read: Breaking Back

I had purchased this book a while back through James Blake's website. It is an autographed copy (which makes me very happy to own it). I had been meaning to read it for a while, but had been reading other books and just didn't get around to it until last week. I started reading this book and just could not put it down. It's a wonderfully written book about Blake's struggles on and off the court and the turmoil in his personal life that almost ended his tennis career at age twenty-five.

If you've never heard his story, you are missing out. You should definitely read this book as it's not just for tennis fans, but for fans of people overcoming controversy. I found the story truly inspiring and best of all, it's not a large book. It's only roughly 275 pages, which is good, because if you know me, you know I read pretty slowly (and I was quite impressed that I read this book within two weeks, especially with school work going on).

If you are looking for a good read, check it out. It is a truly emotional, wonderful story.
