It seems like I am always sleeping in. I hate it, but I always seem to either forget to set a proper alarm, turn off my alarm, or just keep hitting snooze long enough to make me late. I always get to class on time or if I have a job, I always got to it on time, but once I'm used to having days off and I set an appointment for those days, I always seem to forget about those appointments. Today, of course, was no different.


Today I had an appointment at 8:00 AM to get my car serviced at the Volkswagen dealership (Bachman Volkswagen). It's quite a bit earlier than what I usually request for my appointments, but I thought I'd get it knocked out before class today (hoping to have enough time to get my oil changed, walk my dog, eat breakfast, shower, then go to class). Well, this morning I was jarred awake by this horrible high-pitched beeping, "BEE-DA-BOOP, BEE-DA-BOOP." I lay there thinking, "What in the Hell was that?" It then dawns on me that the horrible sound I just witnessed was the sound my phone makes for appointment reminders. I realize what appointment it is reminding me for: my car's oil change. I had forgotten to set an alarm. Dumbass. I'm a dumbass. I realize that I have 15 minutes before I am supposed to be at the dealership. Panicking, I throw on clothes, grab keys, wallet, and phone, then I get my laptop together, grab Buckley and throw his harness on him with leash, and hit the door. I walk Buckley, put him back in his crate, grab my laptop bag and I hit the door once more, this time with my destination set on Bachman. Luckily, I got here roughly around 3-5 minutes late and it was no harm, no foul.


Now I'm sitting here, enjoying my free wi-fi and free coffee, just trying to keep up with all the 3G iPhone release news. Woo, fun.
