Life in Transition

I am three weeks into my new job. Although I've been pretty excited about this change, it hasn't been easy either. It was very tough to leave something known for the unknown, regardless of whether the unknown is in the same field as the known. I think that the proposition of leaving the know for the unknown is the scariest thing one can face in life. It's okay though: I am adjusting and that is important. The one thing that I was scared of in life was that I would become complacent and this shake-up at least shows that I can adapt to new situations if necessary.

I don't really think that my ability to adapt would be as good as it is without the support of friends and family; God knows I've bitched enough to everyone that would lend an ear. It doesn't make up for it, but thank you for your support.

In closing: If you are at a job that doesn't make you happy or isn't exactly what you're looking for then you need to step up and take that plunge. The unknown is terrifying, but it can be very rewarding as well.
