Recently, I’ve been asked by a friend who owns an iPhone with a Windows computer, how to make ringtones for it. Or, how to make ringtones for free. While I knew how to do this on the Mac side (simply doing it through Garageband), this didn’t really help him. So I fired up Parallels and loaded up Windows XP, downloaded iTunes and Audacity in XP, purchased a cool song to make a ringtone from Amazon’s mp3 Store and started my journey.
